P.A. Stolypin Volga Region Academy of Public Administration (PAGS) is a federal public establishment of higher education under the authority of the RF Ministry of Education. The mission of the Academy is training, retraining, professional development, and advising civil service officials, businessmen and executors of non-governmental organizations.

History
November 27, 1991: Volga Region Personnel Training Centre is founded by the decree of the RF Government.
1995: the Centre is renamed Volga Region Academy of Public Administration (PAGS) by the RF President decree.
2002: PAGS is named after an outstanding Russian statesman P.A. Stolypin.
